Moving to Detroit had been good for Frankie. She'd managed to get her dream job, working with a partner who had been an idol of hers since she'd first heard his name whispered in the hallways... even if it had been laced with pity for a loss no parent should ever have to live with. Soon, however, she finds herself working with an android: Connor. As the cases pile up and Frankie tries to combat the hostility that Hank throws Connor's way, things in the wider world appear to be getting worse. An android uprising seems to be on the horizon, and Frankie needs to figure out where exactly she stands as battle lines are drawn up.
