Eliza Medici has lived in Paris most of her life- apart from that brief stint in Italy, Eliza has grown up in and watched the changing of one of the word's most significant and fascinating cities. From the ancient architecture to the local delicacies, Eliza has always found beauty and intrigue within the Parisian culture. She knows her way along the Champs-Elysees and all the main tourist attractions, as well as all the best local "boulangeries." But what Eliza doesn't know, is that a big mystery is brewing right underneath her nose- "strangers" from Eliza's past are winding up dead, and while she manages to elude the real perpetrator for a little while, it eventually comes right on back to her. What happens when one of these strangers leaves a clue eluding to Eliza? This strain of killings leads Eliza all the way to her old spot in Italy, as well as forcing her to reconnect with those from her, while beautiful, dark past.
