Carley was born into this world, where a sudden pandemic has wiped out most of the population; and the people that it didn't kill were forced into a world of pain, hardship and scavenging.
Nel has grown up in this world, protecting Carley and other survivors encountered along the way from the ruins that they're now forced to call home.
This story follows their group as they go through challenging and rewarding times in a situation nobody ever thought they'd have to survive in.
