"I liked you better when you were quirkless." He bitterly mumbled casting his eyes to the ground. The optimism that usually filled his wide green eyes entirely gone. 
     "I-" I mumble desperately searching for any words to fill the painful silence, but nothing I could say now would make it right. Maybe he was right, perhaps I was better off without this horrid quirk. If I had hurt such a happy and positive person, maybe I deserved to be quirkless...

      Everything had been perfect and lined up, Young Asami Manaka should have inherited some sort of trait when all of the other children her age did, but for some reason she just didn't.
