Battling social anxiety, 19-year-old Lucy Owens relies on writing to contribute her strong political and moral views with the world. Writing an anonymous blog is not the only way Lucy tries to make a difference: she sends letters.

After witnessing an aggravated assault and arson by members of a local gang, the East Side Chicago Vipers, Lucy sends the leader's son a threatening letter demanding the discontinuance of gang activity in her neighbourhood.

But this time, things don't go Lucy's way.

The recipient of the letter just happens to be her neighbor's grandson, and when he meets Lucy, clueless as to whom she is, he takes a particular interest in her. As Lucy struggles to hide her identity after failing to avoid the gang member, she comes to realize that there are darker secrets lingering in the shadows of her neighborhood, and that she and the Vipers might just be on the same side.

"With his death I nearly met mine. Till revenge told me to behead the King." Cameron Martinez, an unnoticed girl who lives in Chicago which seems to be Gang Headquarters for the most dangerous gangsters in America. Her oldest brother, Leon, used to be one of them and died because of it, shot in an alley late at night, alone. Leon supported the Martinez family with his earnings from being a gang member while their mother bought dope. With Leon gone, Cameron and her six siblings have rough times financially. She can do one of three things. 1. Join Leon's old gang, the Chicago Kings. 2. Be a stripper like her mother 3. Become a thief Since the first two don't remotely please her, Cameron went with the third choice. But she doesn't steal petty things such as wallets, T.Vs or anything so cheap. She decides to take from those who took the most precious thing from her; the gangs that haunt the streets and terrorize Chicago's citizens. Cameron goes around emptying the pockets of gangsters, stealing the dirty money they don't deserve. Yes, she realizes how dangerous and dumb this is, but she won't let her family starve. People will eventually see Cameron Martinez as a vigilante heroine, but it was never she who did those kind acts. She can't understand how they could think remarkably high of her when she merely wants to put food on the table. * Robbing gangs isn't smart, at all. When the Chicago Kings hear of Cam's doings, they get worried and paranoid. If one insignificant little girl has the balls to steal from them, what will stop everyone else? When Angel Montez, CK enforcer and Leon's best friend gets the command to kill the Vigilante Heroine he has a clear order. One he fully intended to follow through with. What he didn't plan was being interested in her or that she's the younger sister of the dear friend he lost. Now Angel must pick his own destiny instead of following another. Impossible Temptation (A Naruto Love Story) by LucindaRose
25 parts Complete
Lucy was only nine years old when she slaughtered not only her nightmarish parents, but incidentally her entire village in a blood thirsty rampage. Only just a child, she didn't know how to handle this new power that comes with being a diclonius, nor exactly what she is; so she ran away. On the brink of death, she finds herself in the care of the Leaf Village's Hokage, who eventually adopts her and raises her as his own daughter. Unaware of her previous crimes, he welcomed her into the village with open arms. Lucy when asked about her past, faked amnesia, but lives with the regret of murdering many innocent people when she was just a child, hiding the indication of her lack of humanity underneath hats and ribbons. Lucille lives inside her, the blood thirsty personality every disclonious has and suppresses her as much as possible. Lucille acts as a threat to her daily life, wanting nothing but pain and suffering for all humans. Now at the age of seventeen, Lucy is a newly graduated genin and anxious to begin her new life to discover her ninja way. With her friends, Naruto, Sasuke (and unfortunately Sakura); Lucy soon realizes that her past wasn't as easy to forget as she thought it would be. She begins to fear that if she doesn't find a way to control Lucille, she will end up either killing one of the those she loves or giving out her secret that's been hidden for eight years! A/N: This is a crossover fan fiction between the anime Elfen Lied and Naruto! I am only using the diclonius idea and putting it in the Naruto anime. And one other thing; I did start this story when I was about thirteen (I am currently seventeen) and the first few chapters are a tad messy and some of the grammar is sketchy, but I promise it does get a lot better in the later chapters. I've decided to change her age repeatedly throughout writing this book and have finally decided on seventeen. Update: Currently, working on editing. Your patience is appreciated.

In the beginning... he was like a storm: violent, dangerous, and perfectly capable of destroying everything in his path. He'd gotten his hands on everything needed to pin me in his trap. My home... my belongings... my life -- he could have taken any of them at any time, and I wouldn't have been allowed to so much as let out a single protest. In the end, though, what he ended up wanting more than anything else in the world was something I swore up and down I wouldn't ever give him. Me. 🌺👑💛👑🌺 Aerin Vanderhill is uncertain of who he is on the inside and what he really wants out of life. For seventy-five years, he's lived very quietly in a small but futuristic American town, sleeping during the day and occasionally meandering around at night, basically just wondering at his own depressing existence. His family is long dead and everyone he once loved is gone, so for him, all that's left is the silence of being alone... of mimicking life because its there and he has it. Its boring, but what's an awkward, socially inept vampire who's only true form of human contact comes through playing online video games supposed to do? Nothing. That's right, nothing. Because doing something would make him spiral. That's why he sticks to his routine, no matter how pointless it feels to him. Unfortunately, his simple way of living comes to an immediate end when a dangerous, beast-like man with strange powers and even stranger origins comes gallivanting into town, hunting for the so-called "leech" who lulls his victims to sleep before preying on them. Aerin is soon certain he's going to be murdered, but fate might just have other plans. (This is a story featuring male only romance. LGBT+) TRAILER INSIDE!
