On occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Korea in 2018, a series of celebration events has been organized both in Thailand and the Republic of Korea. A Thai photographer was tasked to make a special project for the event with a Korean historical professor. Together, they uncovered untold story about a forbidden love and utmost sacrifices for the countries they love. "The friendship between Thailand and the Republic of Korea predates the official establishment of diplomatic ties. In the late 14th century, Siamese envoys were granted an audience by King Gongyang of the Koryo Kingdom. However, due to the difficulty of travelling from Siam to Koryo by sea, it was only when the United Nations requested the Government of Thailand to send her troops to fight in the Korean War (1950-1953) that the two countries made contact again." "Do you believe in destiny?" "There is no such thing." "I guess... but we'll never know, really." Follow me as we take a dive into the world of fantasy, adventure and allure. "A JenLisa alternate universe fanfiction, reimagining the author's favorite Jane Austen romance-Pride and Prejudice." In the quiet countryside of 1800s England, Jennie Kim is known for her quick wit and strong spirit. She isn't looking for love-especially not with someone as cold and proud as Lisa Manoban, a mysterious heiress from the East. But when fate brings them together again and again, what begins as dislike slowly turns into something deeper. As gossip spreads and expectations grow, both must choose between what society wants-and what their hearts truly feel. A gentle, romance story of pride, longing, and the courage to love.
