The Master Chief has been found. Humanity is once again at war with an alien faction, bearing the name of "Storm Covenant." And now, six months after the Didact's attack on Earth, the UNSC Infinity is engaged in a hot pursuit of the new Covenant leader, Jul 'Mdama on the Forerunner shield-world, Requiem. However, when Infinity dispatches a squad of four Spartans known as Fireteam Crimson to the planet surface to stop him from leaving, one of them uncovers something about Halo, and himself, that could decide the fate of the universe.

His old friends from Night Raid joined UNSC to fight against Covenant. They must band together to end their war once and for all.

The pilot of the Pelican deduces that the world is lost and their lives are better spent elsewhere, and so makes the executive decision to GTFO. However, upon attempting to escape via the Slipspace drive on board the Pelican, something goes wrong, and this new team of soldiers are jettisoned into an eerily similar world...
