The Hunger Games: Their Separate Stories

Peeta Mellark would have never thought he would enter the arena, the chances where in the reaping bowl, but he never imagined. Upon meeting his mentor, his feelings for her shifted and he didn't know what she had become. He didn't agree with her change, he liked it, but preferred her old self. Heartbroken, he learned to love the new Katniss and her new sides. Without that thought, he would be entering the Games in a mere few days to fight to the death.

Katniss Everdeen never expected to fall into the hands of the Capitol so quickly. After her victory of the 73rd annual Hunger Games, she became a monster. She became Haymitch Abernathy, her very own mentor. Meeting her mentees, she does not expect to fall for the male tribute so quickly. She only had to obey the rules, and the number one rule was no feelings. That rule worked for the female tribute, both being too alike, they disliked each other from the minute they met. The only person to worry about finding out was her boss, without that, she'd be fine to continue her job as a mentor and slave.

Katniss nor Peeta expected anything as their games began because both had been willingly strong enough to try to win. Katniss had the will to protect her loved ones, Peeta had the will to love either way. Both stories will be told from the beginning, for both stories have a beginning with the same ending.
