I don't know how many hours I have slept. Once I woke up, without openning eyes, I just clearly and distinctly perceived the darkness around me. In an absolute daze, I have fallen back asleep. Perhaps too sleepy, too hungry, or nothing. In dreams, the past happy affairs and sad affairs constantly reappeared.

Dragon Reincarnated (Working title)
As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is.
