(Percy is mute and blind in this book, this is my first of this type of setting so please don't judge, and there WILL be spelling and grammar errors- I am writing on my phone) 

The mother noticed two things immediately in their child, as did the father, but he passed it in as young clumsiness. Their child made no sound when it came into the world, the mother had been the one to cry out in relief, but the child hadn't. Nor had it seen anything, it was blind, and mute.
