Song Liu-lay is 18 years old, and her life has not been all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, it has been quite the opposite.

You see, Liu-lay is in a relationship with a young man named Wu Yi-fan. Now normally, this wouldn't be a problem, right? Right. But in Liu-lay's case, Yi-fan happens to be the best friend of her ex-boyfriend Kim Jong-in. Because of this, Yi-fan and Jong-in have begun to fight with each other, and Liu-lay is caught in the crossfire.

One day, Liu-lay receives some news that brings her world crashing down around her. As time counts down, Jong-in realizes that he has never truly gotten over his love for Liu-lay. But deep down inside, he knows that Liu-lay is better off with Yi-fan.

His phone rang, a glance at the screen informing him that Jun-myeon was calling. "Hello?" "Jong-in, you need to get to Ming Memorial Hospital right now." Jong-in froze. "What? Wh-Why?" Young-bae's voice was full of sadness as he replied "It's Liu-lay." Jong-in's heart stopped and his breath caught. No, not Liu-lay! What was wrong with her? This couldn't be happening!
