The Universe was a terrifying pit of darkness, a gaping hole in reality without an ending. Despite the emptiness, there was a tiny glimmer of light that dare burst through. The light was the spark to ignite a magical core, the very essence of one's soul. Light rose to meet the darkness, as equals in the cosmic universe. Thus, the Four Magicks were crafted: Light, Reality, Darkness, and Soul.

With the harmonious elemental union of Dark and Light, something new was created-The Wielder. He was the first of humanity, blessed with the powers of the Four. Their essence rippled through him and as other beings were born, the Four's essence dispersed amongst the universe, with various planets filled with magical users. Rarely could users possess more than one specialization in the Four.

No one-Except the Wielder.

And as it always does, the time for universal peace ended with the descent into chaos. The Wielder did the only thing he could to stop the spread of darkness, cleave the universe and his own soul into two different halves.

Cursed the Prince of Dark and Death. The demon that reigned on blood and fear... Forever to roam the ever changing fluid world as an eternal nightmare. The immortal Prince of hate and malice... the only thing that remains of the long lost hollowed out kingdom... the only TRUE remnant of the old ways... the old magic... the pure magic. The magic that made the Dragon Witches in his armies fearsome creatures indeed. Magic that made the roses bloom black and purple with every step he took. Magic that made the world shake at the very sound of his commanding voice. Not even the gods control him. Devils quake and shiver in his very presence. Spirits bend the knees at a single glance of those amber eyes. They say he can never die. Cursed to live with the weight of his sins like a million cinder blocks chained to shackles around his ankles. How else do you pay for the sins of a trillion innocent lives? How else do you repent for the murder of your one true love? How else do you atone for a kingdoms destruction? "Rest not young prince on your bed of nails. Your time is not yet done. For if you sleep your day away you'll miss all the fun. The lives that faded... The blood that spilled... You'll pay for every drop. You'll watch the ever changing world as your forced to rot. So rest not young prince and reap what was sewn. In a world that left you behind, all you be is a man never truly able to atone. Weep not my sweet angel... my dear demon prince of dark and death. For you know in your heart you deserves this pain until your final breath." #1- powersau
Crown of Embers - Academy of Whispers by magic_0022
1 part Ongoing Mature
A peaceful family picnic turns into a nightmare when Iyra locks eyes with a wolf emerging from the shadows. Frozen, she watches as more wolves encircle them, growling with bloodlust-until they suddenly retreat, leaving her with more questions than answers. From that moment, nothing feels the same. Strange dreams haunt her nights. Her family seems to be hiding something, and before she can make sense of it, Iyra is thrust into an arranged marriage with a mysterious werewolf prince-one who knows far more than he lets on. Now enrolled in Amara Academy, a school for the supernatural elite, Iyra must navigate a dangerous world of power, politics, and hidden enemies. War is brewing, and dark forces are closing in. As she unravels the truth behind the prophecy. Iyra faces a choice: confront her destiny and fight for those she loves or risk everything falling apart. *** "We can't be together," I whispered. "No?" he challenged, his hand brushing my waist, a touch so light it made my skin tingle. "Then why haven't you walked away yet?" My hands trembled, and I hated the way my pulse betrayed me, hammering in my chest. "Because I'm not afraid of you," I said, my voice steadier than I felt. He leaned in closer, his lips ghosting over my jaw, his breath warm against my skin. "No, you're not afraid of me," he whispered. "You're afraid of how much you want this." "That's not true," I snapped, shoving him harder this time, creating the space I so desperately needed. He stepped back with infuriating ease, his smile still firmly in place. "Keep lying to yourself, sweetheart". "I'd rather die than accept you as my mate," I shot back, storming past him. He chuckled behind me, his voice smooth and teasing. "Careful, love. You're going to hurt my feelings." I didn't dignify that with a response, but my heart wouldn't stop pounding.

FULL STORY ON PATREON- COMPLETED There are many types of witches and warlocks with varying skills and abilities in Gandheim. Being a Portaler, Healer, or Maganer will guarantee success, but the greatest of all are the Soul Wrights. With the ability to manipulate life force itself, Soul Wrights are as exceedingly dangerous as they are rare and only manifest in males. The High King Kinnut owes his position to his ability, but has maintained peace within his realms for nearly two centuries. He claims that this is due to a strict adherence to his greatest law; all Soul Wrights are put to death after a prophecy foretold the end of his reign by another. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, I showed poor magical capabilities growing up and am failing out of the Academy. Barely more useful than a human, I will be lucky to find a job cleaning sewage pipes. When Kinnut visits the Academy to eliminate the newest Soul Wright, he offers me a position in his home at Height. Not only because he could end my life with a snap of his fingers, but also because of the pressure from my family, I have no choice but to accept. Our line has always been intertwined with the King, until now. FINISHED ON PATREON HERE: https://www.patreon.com/posts/68851294
