Waking up to a new reality
Eric was the younger of twelve year old twins, just approaching their thirteenth birthday. Although only six minutes younger than Lauren, she was clearly the alpha character when it came to sibling rivalry; she had an effervescent outgoing personality and exuded confidence in everything that she did. Eric, on the other hand, was introverted and largely lived his life in under the shadow of his sister. That was until Eric was diagnosed with a life threatening condition. Admitted to hospital for emergency life-changing surgery. Waking up a different person there was a new-found confidence and optimism that results in a metamorphosis into a life that is far from the shadows. Born out of Covid-19 lockdown, this was conceived as a light-hearted short story to counteract the doom and gloom that was resulting from the pandemic. It grew longer than expected, as I got to know Erin. The story might still be a bit rough round the edges, but I wanted to release it in time for summer vacation reading. There is no violence or hatred, just kindness and acceptance. For those that discount this as unrealistic of the real world, I counter two arguments: 1) It is a complete work of fiction. 2) My son went to Lycee (Senior secondary school) in rural France, where attitudes are generally very conservative. Despite this, there was a girl his his year, who believed she should have been a boy. HE was accepted for who he was, without prejudice. Hopefully it offers a little light reading with a happy ending. Not that the story is set in Scotland and the spelling reflects British convention, perhaps with some Scottish dialect thrown in.Complete

To live in another world, a world of peace, of kindness. They say that the best people are the ones who get hurt the most. I am one of them. I hate the way that everyone is so happy in this earth, the way that they can live a good and cheerful life, when I am stuck with the dark depths of depression. In my world, I lacked happiness, friendship, and love. But, something changed. No, someone changed everything. He changed the way I looked at the world. He changed the way I wake up in the morning. Pokémon Fan Falls Into The Pokémon World
I'm a huge Pokémon fan and have been ever since I was little. Recently I've been playing Pokémon Ultra Moon and have been thinking about how I would be in the Pokémon world based on my knowledge of Pokemon. Now since this is a fictional story only really using myself as the main character, no one that I know in real life will be mentioned aside from my family and my fiance. Anyway, I'll state what happened to me ending up in this world at the start of the story. I found this art on Google and it's of Team Rainbow Rocket. Credits go to Gamefreak for making these games and the characters that are not me, my family or my fiance. Also if you need any information about any of the characters that are not me, you can look them up on Bulbapedia or Serebii! These two are both Pokémon dedicated websites.
Just an Ordinary Girl
WattNaNo Drama Pick Winner 2018. This book has slices of my life, a memoir, covering my difficult childhood coping with my mother's severe mental heath issues and my journey today. This is a collection of short stories that can be independently read. A positive and honest recount. Postcards from the past, some bad some good. My mother's schizophrenia terrified me when she died it made an impact on my life. Writing this book is my chance to let it go of the pain and move on. I felt confusion, anger and fear as a child but now I am a mother myself I realise my mother was unable to help the way she was and that's so sad, that we never connected. I have written this from an observation point of where I have looked back a the past with an adult view and perspective over time. I've done my best to be honest. So take me as I am or leave me be. Thanks so.much for my supportive cousins, close friends and my Wattpad tribe. You are the best and I feel very lucky. I am pleased to say my life is good as you make it so.
