Salem grew up in a cruel community in Oklahoma which persecuted him for being the bastard son of a hero cop. After hearing stories of his Father's feats, he searches deep for answers of his father's whereabouts and heads to Las Vegas, where he finds so much more.

He takes Aidan in, practically kidnapping him and keeping him in his home, claiming Aidan is his fated mate . But Aidan soon learns that this dangerous creature might not be as dangerous as he had thought, especially with how affectionate he is with him. Aidan learns that this beast may make him feel strange things he shouldn't be feeling.
