Have you ever wondered about the guys and gals who wear the black nametags? Have you ever been curious to know what they do? Have you ever wondered what they sacrifice to serve in their assignments world-wide? Well, I can't tell every story, but I can certainly tell mine. There are a lot of misconceptions surrounding the organization which calls itself the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This autobiography is my way of giving back, and maybe answering some questions. The experiences I share really happened. If you don't believe me, that's okay; just don't judge me because you don't understand or believe.

Laid upon the pages of this book is a story. This is an autobiography. I struggled with writing this and, as you will soon understand, though I knew how to write it, writing it and thinking about it was difficult. In Love With Blindfolds On
I gave the best of myself to someone who didn't have anything to lose. I didn't know how to avoid my lover's toxic and abusive flames. My lover's twisted words were like a maze inside of my head that I couldn't escape. Sadly, my lover's actions hypnotized my thoughts and paralyzed my thinking. There's probably a ton of reasons why you are feeling the way you are feeling at this very moment. Sometimes emotions just sneak up on us without our realization and we drown our pains or sorrows by adapting to a certain pattern of living. We develop coping mechanisms per se. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally.
