Since her birth, Nkechi's has been reassured by the fact that her life was predestined. Her fate was written on her skin for all to see and sealed by her fathers lips for everyone to hear. She was Funai, a holy sorceress of the Feri tribe and she was to be betrothed to the favoured Dahara warrior, Kofi. The white marks on her skin had decided her fate from birth or so she had thought. 

Nkechi's life as she knew it came to an abrupt halt when she was torn from her sleep by the awakening of her own Dahara. An ethereal beast that lay hidden within her being until the call of a distant friend brought her forward. Weeks after her return from the journey that returned her friend Maliha to her lost tribe, Nkechi is plagued by her truth. 

The Feri believe that one can be a Funai or a Dahara but they cannot be both and yet Nkechi is unprepared to accept the law.


Follow Nkechi as she finds herself at the cusp of a life changing discovery, one that will place her at the centre of a world struggling to fight the dark energies that reside inside the hearts of the Lost Nation.
