It was dark. That was it. I remembered that they thought I was dead, and now I am rapidly sinking to the bottom of the pacific I had once called home. The water was cold and surrounding me. That much I knew. Then suddenly, I took a breathe. At least that's what it felt like. Something ran through my hair and oxygen seemed to be seeping into my body through my skin. I opened my eyes to see a golden glow that seemed to chase the pain away. I felt the water cradle me and from then on, I was something more than human.All Rights Reserved
