The tale of The Defenders of Pangolia.
Filled with drama, action, teenage life, romance, friendships and dreams. This tale follows the lives of Piko, Jac, Alex, Shawn and Jasmine-Rose - all in which share one thing in common...
their dreams.
Teenagers Piko and Jac have been best friends since childhood, even though they're in different grades at school - which makes their friendship unlikely to last. The friends were all about going against the odds, especially when one day in highschool, Jac goes missing, and Piko is left on her own.
That night, Piko dreamt of an entrance exam. Nothing unusual, for a student, right? How about when there's elves, humans with animal parts and even grim reapers? Nearing to the end of Piko's dream, she saw Jac Persavado before she woke up. And when she did awaken, she knew that something was.. different about this dream.
Little did she know that her life, and millions of others' would change forever after.

hello! this is my tale of the defenders of pangolia.
i have had the concept of pangolia planned for about a year and a half, it has gone through lots of tweaks and changes, some big some small, but overall i think i have reached a place where i'm content to show it to the word :)
these five characters are very dear to my heart, and i'd love it if you guys could give me some criticism. be as harsh as you want, i think i need the reality check.
features;
- lgbt+ characters
- teen drama
- fantasy
- action
- 'finding yourself' type of thing
even though i will put trigger warnings at the top of each chapter, the overall trigger warnings for this story are as follows;
- depression
- drugs (heroin, medicine)
- teenage angst (is that even a tw)
- trans / gender dysphoria
- self harm
*COMPLETED*
My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette.
"Look at me."
I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it.
He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word.
I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it.
"You're blind."

Monet was born into a particularly prestigious area of her wolf pack, to parents of extremely high standards. Her legacy is to become the packs next healer, but when she was born completely devoid of melanin, all her mated parents saw was a disappointment.
Being born an albino wolf pup meant a lot for Monet, but it mostly meant her condition had taken her eyesight along with it.
What happens when Monet meets the Alpha of a neighboring pack? Will he accept her for what she is?
