This is no story like that, this book is about a girl named Ashley Greene who had a really bad past and a really messed up life. Having to deal with the stress at home and enduring the torments of her peers at high school.

A story about a girl who has been hurt so many times that she turned into the harsh cold hearted person she was afraid she would become. She built an invisible wall around herself that strictly said, no relationships! But what happens when she runs into the new guy Josh Peterson? Will he be able to soften Ashley and give her hope? Will he be able to help her and support her on becoming a better person or will he be like everyone else and stay away from the so called freak?
