Who Am I?

A story in which a teenage girl finds herself. A terrible time in her life comes and takes away her athletic scholarships, she's about to give up. But she finds a sign and heads right toward that sign!

Zoey Peirce is athletic,smart and beautiful. All of what you could imagine a perfect teen!

But as Track finals come for her so does fate!

I wake up to the sound of my mother crying beside me.

"Mom?" I croak and it sounds like a frog trying to speak

"Sweety?" She asks and looks up to me "Sweety" She says in relief and gives me a hug

"Ow!" I say in pain
"Oh! Sweety I'm so sorry I didn't..I wasn't" I cut her off before she can say anything else

"Mom,I'm alright"
She nods and starts to blink back the tears.

"Sweety, I have to tell you something.." she says really slowly,suddenly looking sad

The door opens and a doctor comes in.....

I never thought my life would be like this-I didn't know anything about what I had-All I knew was that I had little time to live and that little time was gonna be it.

"You have...Cancer"

My eyes start to water..
My mother starts to sob again...
My life starts to fall apart right....
