Returning from the downfall of Hope's Peak Monokuma ends up forcing them into a killing game, no surprise there.   secrets at every turn, odd turn outs, and Madpat is caught in the middle of everything.   But how is a mad scientist the key to everyone's escape?   He's on the case to find out and an odd antituber known as Raef as his main sidekick. However the peace doesn't last long when rookie dark tuber Adrigal wakes up with a new band of dark sides in the middle of a medieval city and like last time with amnesia of everything except names and talents. Monokuma returns exacting vengeance but thanks to Darko the group has a pair of new allies, Monomi the rabbit and Natemare's fellow ego Paultin. Unsure what to do or how to approach this, Adrigal is desperate to prove himself by learning how to solve this case. He finds an ally in the earth demon dark side Silvera who said she'll be his guide in trying to solve this mess. Let the next killing game commence!

This is the third story connected to "Phantoms of Deceit". After Phantom rejoined Raef and the duo was able to stop Antisepticeye and Darkiplier from their revenge argument Anti laughed and Dark was angry. Antisepticeye revealed that he may have failed in getting Raef on his side in his revenge quest, but the king of limbo wasn't the only dark side he learned about. He gained someone else in his spare time and said quote "Boy he's such an obedient puppet after I.... convinced him of some things". Joey thought it was Daniel and threatened to destroy anti if it was his boyfriend. However, anti admitted it wasn't Joey's "pathetic boyfriend " it was someone else. He then vanishes but Dark joins the duo saying "if we're going to take him on and whoever he's controlling, we may need extra help because anti and his puppet won't be alone". Nate makes a few calls to bring in some other dark tubers and just tubers with other personas. But it's more a mystery to what is anti's goal?

In 2018 antisepticeye is on a quest for payback against darkiplier after dark Chica almost ate them which left their argument unfinished. He finds this book that tells the story of Raef and also tells of Phantom, a persona like natemare. Seeing this Raef as his ticket to vengeance and also to awaken another antituber he tracks down vlogger/gamer Joey Graceffa and targets him. At the same time Nathan is having odd dreams not realizing they're memories of Phantom. all he could seem to figure out was to "protect the ice phantom" whoever that is. He discovers anti's goal thanks to natemare and calls on Mark/dark for some backup. The word about these newbies intrigues dark. In result what will happen with all eyes on Joey?
