❝Emerson Baldwin has self diagnosed himself with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

He hates anything that has to do with a) disorder. b) feeling out of control in any way. c) stepping out of his comfort zone.

So when his friends somehow talk him into taking a trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii, his life is suddenly spiraled out of his control.

Between being pulled around a dirty island, forced to hike mountains, swim in exotic fish infested waters, and last but not least be dragged onto a plane only to jump out of it with a faulty parachute...he's in for a wild ride. Not to mention dealing with a pinch of drama with a few people in his friend group.

The only thing keeping him on his toes more than anything else is their Island guide; a beautiful and unreadable nineteen year old girl named Rosalind whose one goal is to teach Emerson how to live life to its fullest and to live intrepidly. While his one goal is to get the heck off this island with his sanity still in tact. ❞

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. In many ways, Leslie Mitchell is just like her father Shawn. Cocky, sarcastic, has a knack for causing trouble, funny, fiery, and let's not forget, charming. And like any rebellious teenager, she has the tendency to get herself into many many...many sticky situations. Lucky for her then, that she has a boat load of people willing to help her fix her messes. Chase Reynolds is one of those people. The yin to her yang, ice to her fire. He keeps her feet on the ground, she keeps his head in the clouds. No matter her antics, he was always going to have her back. She knew it, he knew it, everyone knew it. They've always been Chase and Lee, Lee and Chase. Best friends since forever. But what happens when the lines between friendship and love become blurred? One thing's for sure though, where there's a Mitchell, there's an adventure. And trust that with Leslie, it's bound to be one hell of a ride. *** "We've always been Lee and Chase, Chase and Lee. Nothing's ever going to change that," he said. "You and me, we're endgame." *** Spin-off to Tutoring Mr. Bad Boy, Dating Mr. Bad Boy, and This Summer. Can be read as a stand alone, but you might be asking questions along the way.
