Lucy Davis lives a simple life: she shares an apartment with her best friend, works as a receptionist for a real estate agency, and spends her free time either watching Netflix or having drinks with friends at the local bar.

One morning on her way to work, she bumps into Kyle, who works in the same building.

Kyle Ward is a multi-millionaire, and to Lucy and plenty of other people, extremely good-looking. He's also charming, witty, arrogant, and a notorious ladies man.

Lucy doesn't care for him. She's not interested. But when Kyle keeps turning up unexpectedly wherever she goes, she can't help but be intrigued by him. She likes the push and pull between them, and is happy to keep him at a distance.
