Elena is 19 and is starting to finally begin her life. She has moved in with Mark, her boyfriend of 2 years, she's started nursing school, and is working two jobs. Mark is a senior in business school, who also has two jobs. Despite being very busy, they still make plans to be with each other and to love each other.
Elena has been dealing with pelvic pain and so much more for about ten years; ever since she had started her period. Only lately has it begun to be an awful problem. When Elena finds a doctor who finally listens to her, Elena and Mark learns a dark diagnosis looming over their heads.
