Atomic Abyss

Even after the death of the Monarch of the Abyss the world is far from stable or safe, what remains of humanity lives inside a singular city, protected by a handful of sworn heroes, monsters lurk outside, remnants of that awful day. Forty years later a new hero appears, bearing a scarily familiar power, he'll endure many burdens in a bid to learn more about himself and those he works with in this corrupt society where heroes are revered as gods among men and all logic is replaced with propaganda. A threat from within their own walls threatens to tear humanity apart from the shadows, the heroes will need to overcome both the monsters beyond their walls and threats from their own people in order to prevail, humanity's fate will soon be at hand, will it be salvation or oblivion?

what is wrong with the world? the times have changed and left so much behind that there is no room for those abandoned, those lost in the ways of the old world and left to fend for themselves in the new one. those few strays, those lost souls are outliers, people without a place in the new world, where superpowers have been outlawed by those to strong for even the most capable to defeat. the outliers of this world need to unit, they need to fight to reclaim what was lost, to reclaim what was taken by the hypocritical system they once dedicated there lives to. this story will introduce us to those who call themselves outliers, those who live in the shadows hiding what they are capable of from the world that once demanded them to defend it, the ones left behind by the new world order but are still very much capable of fighting against it.Complete

This is my first time writing a action/vampire story, matter fact, my first time writing a novel, so apologies if it's cheesy╰(*'︶'*)╯♡ 𓆩♱𓆪 𝐇𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞. An ancient curse fused vampire and human blood in his ancestors. From that moment on, he and his lineage were destined to live a life far from normal. Nakamura Sato, now a teenager half-vampire (half-blood) living in Tokyo, knows his death is coming. He knows that he is a monster himself. However, he is also aware that other creatures of the night lie in wait. He's always envied his classmates at Chikara University, each born with unique powers. Sometimes, he wonders how he even got admitted, considering he has no powers of his own. At least not the kind the other students were born with. Not to mention, no one has a clue he's a vampire. He's always had a dream, a dream much like the others at his university. Become a hero and save their city from villains that lurk. Train to use the powers they were blessed with. Use them for good. However, he was always told that he didn't have time before his body would dissipate.
