“Go forth, bite off their heads! Store their skulls in your endlessness and devour their bodies! Leave bone nor blood behind!” Commander a voice out of my grey filtered world.

“Mission complete. Casualties: 1. Within accepted parameter. Returning to base.” The voice continued, oddly monotonous.

Those were the last words I heard before The Darkness claimed me, its black depth were disrupted by the panthers that dove towards me, strange creatures made from smoke and ash who sunk their teeth into my severed body and soul.
