Suddenly that man stopped talking at his friend and our gazes met. In a normal everyday situation I would have timidly looked away from him, but this time it was different. He didn't seem to look away either. We were getting closer and closer. It wasn't just a matter of getting to the other sidewalk, there was a force between us that was growing stronger with every step. It was as if we were opposite magnets that were finally going to come together. Step by step I approached him, the rest of the world didn't exist for me.
Was that how love at first sight felt? Did I finally found my soulmate after having lived many lives without him, searching for him?
