A story of grief, bravery and love-this tale surrounds Silena, a sixteen years old girl who is not the least normal. And this abnormality, has hurt her in her life, whose scars have been permanent.

As I hurried past the market, I could see people giving me glares, throwing silent curses at me, make faces and others wouldn't even look at me. I didn't blame them. I am unlucky. I am a monster. I am not a good person at all. I am Silena of the Forgotten Village. I am an orphan. I am a demon.
