Zelda Kubo was one of the only people to be revived by a ghost and still have memory of her old life.
Cayde-6 saved her from making a mistake and took her into the Vanguard and taught her what it means to be a hunter. and maybe even take his place one day. or die... trying to fill it.
Note: i do not own Destiny 2 or any of the art put in this story. i just own some oc's. this is a story just on my oc shipped with Cayde-6. and i'm not going back and correcting small little spelling mistakes. it's a waste of air and time. i will fix any major plot holes if necessary.

"You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) So, he creates a special ghost. A ghost looking like the others but far more powerful. A ghost which is fated to reborn a God. Artemis, one of the most powerful Olympians, daughter of Zeus and Lyto, big Apollo's twin sister, Goddess of the Hunt is reborn by that ghost. They both know nothing about their powers, their past or their destiny. Artemis, like all the Guardians, forgets her past. She doesn't hate men and she remembers nothing about her virginity vow. Another universe... Another Earth to be exact, one where it took them to what the Pre-Golden Age of Humanity looked like before the Traveler made its arrival to their solar system. In this new universe? He has no idea of the new journey he embarks himself on as he meets new allies who are heroes with or without superpowers, whether they're alien or not, and new enemies who are also human and alien, but nothing like he's ever faced before. But he also meets someone he ends up potentially falling in love with, a girl who is exactly his Guardian age of sixteen, the girl however... is an alien, a "Kryptonian".
