The Unspoken Promise

He remembered that promise. He remembered those smiles she just made. He remembered. And it hurts so much.
“Sanne,” he whispers, “I’m not sure if you really get what I mean of waiting for me, “ he said to himself. To the wind.
Now, he’s the one who is searching for her presence.
