"I can't be just friends with you," he whispered bringing his hand against my cheek cupping it slightly. "McCormick," I sighed. I leaned in a little to his touch. Probably making the situation worse but I couldn't help it. It felt so good. "One last kiss that's all I ask". He said before leaning in slightly. It's senior year and more than anything Kennedy wants to put her past behind her and ignore all of her feelings for her next door neighbor Cal McCormick. This school year has more in store for Kennedy than college acceptance letters and school dances. Will she continue to swim past the lingering feelings she keeps trying to bottle up or will they come to surface causing her to sink further into the deep end?
