The year is 3152 and Mia and her mother have plans for the world. They are taking all of the people and making them perfect. Making them 'synthetics' as the Rebellion calls them. All she and her mother wish for is a perfect world, and their first step? Perfect people. People come in and have their bodies redone, then they have chips inserted at the base of their neck that allows Mia and her mother to easily control them. When members of the Rebellion are found they are sedated on the spot and brought back to be made perfect. Now the leader of the Rebellion has bombed their main factory for chip development. So Mia decides to go undercover posing as one of the Rebellion after helping two of their highest raking members escape from the factory before their bodies were even touched. She conviences them to take her to the leader, who she plans to kill. And here is the twist, the leader of the Rebellion is her father. Along the way will she change her mind and stop what she and her mother are doing, or will she stick to her plan and kill him?

Being genetically engineered means they both have power on an extraordinary level. They are sent out to hunt people down and kill them, against their will. If they don't do as they are told, they are punished. They don't want to kill people but they have no choice if they want the other to live. Because Erin and Josh have a bond so strong that hurting one, means hurting the other. Killing one, means killing the other. Neither of them want the other to die. When they are sent out to kill a boy who is the biggest threat to Triple, they both realise that this is so much bigger than them. With the help of Charlie, they start to free themselves from Triple's grip, but can they free the world as well as themselves? For they have only each other.
