Thousands of years ago, in the land that is known today as the Middle East, there was an empire so vast and great that its name still lives to this day. This empire of Persia was the beacon of freedom in a world with very little freedom. Its people were free to live as they wanted to live, dress as they wanted to dress, and worship as they wanted to worship. The Persian Empire was home to artists and painters, poets and philosophers, scientists and warriors.

While life within Persia was heavenly, outside Persia enemies were gathering at the gate. Towards the east, the Legion of Mongolia was expanding its own domain of influence, powered by strong, swift, and capable Mongol riders. Towards the south west, the newly formed kingdom of Ma'ur was clashing more and more with the western Persian border cities. Towards the north west, the great empire of Turan had repeatedly lost wars to Persia, and the King of Turan, Afrasiab, was becoming obsessed by the thought of overtaking Persia.

In this setting, one Persian warrior stood as the beacon of hope for the Persian empire. Raised as a boy in the Alborz mountains, with a mysterious parental lineage and a mysterious upbringing, he had proven his superhuman abilities in war after war, propelling him through the army ranks to becoming the youngest vice-General of the Persian army. His name was known and feared by the enemies of Persia, but little did they know that his name would become known throughout history as the defender of Persia. This is the story of this one Persian, of this one Warrior, who gave his life not just for his country, but for the people of Persia.

One fateful day, a powerful entity known as Malrex, the dark lord of shadows, emerged from the depths of the universe. With his army of demons and dragons, he laid waste to entire planets and sought to plunge the galaxy into darkness. The leader of the Knights, Sir Galadrim, a mighty warrior with a heart of gold, knew that they were facing a threat unlike any they had ever encountered before. He gathered his comrades to discuss a plan to defeat Malrex and save their world from certain destruction. As they ventured into the unknown realms of space, they encountered strange and mysterious beings, some friendly and others hostile. Along the way, they discovered ancient artifacts and powerful relics that would aid them in their quest. But as the battles raged on and the stakes grew higher, Sir Galadrim began to doubt if they could truly defeat Malrex and his dark forces. He knew that sacrifices would have to be made and that the fate of the galaxy rested on their shoulders. In the final showdown with Malrex, the Knights fought with all their might, unleashing their inner powers and strength. With the help of unexpected allies and a stroke of luck, they managed to defeat the dark lord once and for all. As peace returned to the galaxy, Sir Galadrim realized that their victory had come at a great cost. Many lives were lost, and the scars of battle would never truly heal. But he knew that as long as there were heroes like the Knights of Haven, the galaxy would always have hope in the face of darkness. And so, the tales of pareidolia were passed down through the generations, a reminder of the courage and sacrifice of those who stood against evil and fought for the light.

Allen Walker(NOT FROM D-GRAYMAN), a 13 year old boy with a dream to become a warrior, just like his Father Argon Walker. And 4 childhood friends will gather together and reclaim what was once theirs. Wonderful tales about adventures and battles against the Empire of Gallamine... But this was not one of those heroic times. The messenger was a soldier of the King, bearing a Blue cloak with a Gold insignia of the King, The Mighty Blue Dragon, on his hands. Allen's mother covered her face with grief and ran inside the house. Allen wanted to cry, but he kept a brave face. His lower lip wouldn't stop trembling. As he extended his hands for the cloak, the messenger unveiled his hoodie and underneath was his Uncle Waller with tears and red nose. Allen ran and hugged him. Not letting him go, thinking he too would suddenly disappear. "Allen... Please take this inside." Said Waller, "I will come back when we have done the ceremony for his burial." Waller kneeled down with his arms extended, offering Allen his fathers cloak. "But... Uncle Waller. What-" I started crying, but kept a brave face. "I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..." Said the whisper, "I will help you grow strong, and get Revenge..." Said the voice with sadness, "You are a very special Kid".

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)
Angel: One Million (Volume 1) by FlashQM
4 parts Ongoing
Angel: One Million takes place in a distant, alternate version of our reality, in which elements of life such as the weather, livestock, and a mass of other factors were once controlled by an invisible group of overseers known as the Silent Zen. This rule would be an accepted constant for one million years of human history, as the influence of the SZN would be felt throughout humanity in one way or another during its most dire or precious moments. That was, until an invading force had arrived in rebellion-toting appearances similar to humans, but brandishing technology from all different corners of the galaxy that not even they could fully comprehend. This invading force would come to be known as the Six Heroes Of Winged Varsity (Or just the Six Heroes), and their rebellion saw a complete overthrowing of the Silent Zen and a new age of humanity be ushered in. Now, we stand at the present-100 years after the Silent Zen's defeat. An array of civilizations from all across the solar system have begun the process of recovering from the SZN's tyranny, but the effects of their reign would make it so that none of the worlds touched by their hand would ever be the same again, even after some of them had fully taken back their lives from their influence. This is where the Winged Varsity of the present come in-an ever growing and evolving legion of humanity's most capable and unified Battlemages, founded by a man named Vietro Garmedia who led the Six Heroes unto earth long ago. They fight across the galaxy and beyond to rid existence of the Silent Zen's influence, pushing ever further so that one day they may see to a truly safe and prosperous world.
