The short stories in this book were all written by a ten- and eleven-year-old me. I was a horrible writer, I had no talent in the subject, and for some reason my teacher didn't kick me out of the classroom when I read these stories to the class.

All these stories are typed EXACTLY how they were written in my notebook, horrible grammar, spelling, punctuation, and all. I wanted y'all to see this as a way to show you that not all writers start out amazing. (I still don't understand why y'all like my writing.) It takes progress and practice to get anywhere with anything.

So, without further ado, enjoy.

The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. All photos, except from my drawing in the first part, are from Pixabay.)
