Waking

a girl whose very air that spoke of a melancholy silence. one who could watch the world as she slept and never actually woke from a dreamless sleep. seemingly timeless and lonely, yet so alive at the moment her eyes would meet yours swallowed by the feeling that she was there at arms length but miles of quietness away. it took my breath away she invaded my life without even knowing it. I had been enraptured by her from the start, and I would save her if I could. I was used to being alone, my nature demanded it and she was an exception I hadn't accounted for.
