Months after Lance's loss to Red in the Pokemon League, Lance received and call from an old friend concerning a mysterious dragon Pokemon. Feeling like he needs to take some time away from Kanto to find his next challenge, Lance heads to Alola to raise and research a new dragon type Pokemon.
