Ryan Luca James Jacaruso wasn't exactly a normal kid. He knew that. Being able to travel from one end of a city to the other in a matter of seconds wasn't exactly normal. Being able to raise undead soldiers from the ground wasn't ordinary. Being able to spilt the earth open and have it swallow people, or lighting his hand on fire probably wasn't too common among the population of mortals either.
Although Ryan is a lost soul, there has to be some path for him to take, right? And that's all he's trying to find. Maybe drinking and taking drugs wasn't the right path, but it felt better than sitting in a Camp where you weren't welcomed or laying in bed all day.
Or maybe the right path laid further ahead. Maybe he just needed to give it time... and tea.
