South Indian Restaurant

We aren't supposed to have favourites but we love this quick service restaurant. With an array of mouth-watering South Indian delicacies, Sambar is winning hearts all over. We recommend the Classic Idli Vada Sambar and the Khara Bhaat for a really fresh start. End your meal with the sweet Kesari Bhaat, which is quite great too. But the kicker is their Filter Coffee (costs only 12 bucks), move over fancy lattes and cappucinos!

This relatively new South Indian restaurant has been in the news for all the right reasons. Tickling the taste buds, Iddos serves authentic South Indian taste from the cultural land of Dravidian civilization. Their menu includes some old time classics as well as some new innovative South Indian dishes. Do try their Rawa Idli, Podi Mini Idli and their Filter Coffee.

Anna Idli probably has the largest variety of South Indian all-day breakfast fare. With over six types of idlis and vadas and over 14 types of dosas, we really enjoyed our meal here. Do try the Ragi Dosa, a type of dosa from Karnataka. Other good small plates include the amazing Madur Vadas and Bonda Soup, both served piping hot.
