Before heading off to college, 17 year old Elvyra Carson's grandfather has arranged for her to room and act as the caretaker of a family friend's 16 year old son whom she has never heard of before. Not only does the situation seem odd, but there was also something strange about their family that she couldn't quite pinpoint.
