The life Ava Hanks leads is the epitome of normal; nothing of significance or out of the ordinary ever happens to her. But when Ava and her self-absorbed boyfriend- slash- best friend go out to the river for a date and witness James Rowan's suicide, her life takes a hundred and eighty degree turn.
