Desdemona ''Des'' Winchester wants nothing to do with Melliford Academy. In fact, she's pretty sure her parents shipped her off to boarding school just to get her out of their hair. It's a move they'll come to regret if she has any say in the matter. Nothing humiliates posh folk like having a daughter sent home from the country's most esteemed educational institution. Just flunking class isn't dramatic enough, though. Des plans to get booted in the most spectacular manner possible, just to make sure her parents' social circle will never let them live it down. Her scheming, unfortunately, encounters three roadblocks within the first week of class. The first: Exie Quinnell, teacher's pet, whip-smart, and unreasonably attractive. Neither girl intended to end up on a project together, but their teacher deemed Des in need of a little... remediation. The second: There are things about Melliford Academy that none of the teachers will talk about, even when pressed. Things that should be easy answers. The Death Thief
Delilah "Del" Cross went into the woods with the express purpose of never coming back out. However, death was interested in someone else that night. Del finds a murdered young woman, who soon rises from the dead as a zombie. Del is brought into a very special community living in happy isolation within the beautiful Whisper Valley. There creatures of myth and legend live together in harmony, following a strict set of rules that allow them to be who they are but also enjoy modern amenities like a steady Wifi connection and the latest smartphone. They all just want a normal life that's free from persecution by humans. For them, humans are instead seen as a commodity. Specifically they're known as the "Bodies" and they all have one year to either be sponsored or converted by one of the town's supernatural citizens. Del fills the vacancy left by the corpse in the woods, Calista Nightgrave. Calista should have been the next bride to a wealthy vampire, but instead she is a lowly zombie that's furious over the shift in her immortal afterlife. The Neighbor - Your quiet home life suddenly gets really uncomfortable when you realize your elderly neighbor has been watching you through his window. 3. Public Restroom - You look back at your childhood to figure out where your fear of public restrooms came from. 4. The Screaming Woman (Pt. 1 & 2) - You wake up abruptly to sounds of a woman screaming only to be faced with your worst nightmare. 5. Redemption's Song and other short stories
My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories. This is just for me to get the short ideas out of my head when I have motivation. lol. Idk if anyone's gonna read these but here they are. Also I don't know when I'm gonna update this, it's just kind of when I want to. Each chapter is a different story and I'll post these between posting chapters of my main stories. And a TW for anyone who is sensitive to violence or anything scary. Not all of the stories are like this, but a lot of them are probably gonna be pretty messed up. (lol) A lot of these stories is just to get ideas out of my head and it will probably never be completed. Each story is different and there is no real pattern or anything, its just all random. Entertainment, Ideas, and Random Stories!!!
BORED? Check this out! Not only does this include totally random, funny, short stories that make no sense it also includes jokes, riddles, things to do when you're bored, movie/book/YouTube recommendations to keep you entertained/laughing and SO MUCH MORE. The short stories were written out of boredom for fun and to entertain others :). Each short story jumps from one idea to the next every sentence, not really sticking on topic, but it's still like a journey for the character. Hopefully it makes someone's day or gives them an idea. So... Enjoy! P.S. I know this says "completed," and it kind of is in that it's not a regular story with a plot line (beginning, middle, and end).
