[ after three years of literal hell, baldi had divorced his wife. it took a large toll on the man and everyone at school. he had to get his anger out somehow. that's how this whole 'smacking kids with rulers' thing started. baldi insisted they weren't true at all, but anyone who stayed for after-school tutoring said otherwise(if they remembered anyways). one day, however, a certain someone caught baldi in the act.
