The Gnats of the Blue Forestr

A girl who was once known as Claudia, now known as the Gnats of the Blue Forest, recounts her history as a student of the School for a Good and Evil. At the same time, she quietly observes the current class as they go about daily life. When a horde of monsters threatens the school, she might be the only useful ally who can save the children.

Lorelai is part fairy, but she's not in Good. That's because she's also the daughter of a pirate. Her reckless ways have earned her a reputation as a flying daredevil, never one to shirk from a challenge. Lorelai receives a letter inviting her to the School for Good and Evil, but when she arrives she discovers that the school isn't as perfect as it may seem. There is danger around every corner, and why are those Gnats in the Blue Forest always shouting things to her, even if she didn't ask?

Saffron is the exact opposite of Lorelai. She's also part fairy- but she can't fly. Daughter of a fairy and a Lost Boy, this girl was raised in Maidenvale and has grown up resentful of everything that can fly- because she can't. Naturally, a flying girl going to the same school doesn't go over well with Saffron. Will Saffron help save her school? Or will she accidentally destroy everything?
