I stare at the clock face as it slowly itches towards midnight.
When midnight strikes, I'll see what she sees. Feel what she feels.

If you're older than your soulmate you stay 18 until he/she/they catch up. When Harry wakes up on his 13th birthday he notices two things. 1. The room is in color. 2. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm.
