The greatest of the living Eldar is dying. In attempting to remedy this, the Lords and Ladies of the Valar end up with rather more of a mess than they're prepared to deal with. The subjects of this tremendous disaster don't have the luxury of time to sort things out, so they take matters into their own hands. Fortunately, they're both rather good at throwing Eru's plans back in his face when it suits them.
