A newbie reporter fresh out of college, Cruz decided to test their luck in the Big Apple and try to find their big break; however, four months in, they're still in a shit apartment with three other shit roommates. Right as they plan to head back home, a stroke of luck (or bad luck) falls in their lap, and Cruz is set to interview Luka Morozov, the charismatic CEO of Morozov Industries, one of the most successful med-tech companies on the east coast. However, in time, the journalist gets the feeling that Luka has a few skeletons hiding in his closet and learns the price of forbidden knowledge: blood.
