Kaj Dellmare is just a teenage boy who wants to live his life freely. He never really struggled with that, until aliens came to take him and his whole generation away. The Omarans--the alien race that had took him--had their reasons, yet they still did their best to avoid contact. Many of the alien crew were afraid of him, but not Jirab.
