Your older sister has been babysitting him for ages, she was there for his most memorable birthdays. For every moment of his life that he remembers. He's the most beautiful magnificent sight you've ever seen. He has gorgeous blue green eyes. They glisten like crystals under sunlight. His jawline pierces your heart and cues your butterflies. His name is like music to your ears. His touch is like ice cold pain. Jonah Marais is a work of art. Everybody loves him, everybody adores him. His voice makes me blush. Oh when he sings it's the most beautiful thing my ears have ever heard. He's like a brother to me, but he's not, he's not my brother at all. He's more like a crush, someone I've always wanted, someone I've adored my whole life, someone I've wanted so bad my whole life. It's like everything I've wanted from him is at my reach. He loves me. But what if it's as a sister... not like how I love him. If only he could end my temptation. All I want is my vision of his lips on mine to become a reality. And maybe one day it will become one Too bad he's off limits... ...for now

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19
