For a hundred years, the empire of Reigh was ruled by the royal family.
For a hundred years it was said that people were happy and living in harmony and peace.
For a hundred years, the world knew utopia but was it the truth?

Trace moved quietly through the crowd, observing the townsfolk with an emotionless face. He went unnoticed, like a shadow, being ever-present but remained out of sight.
He wanted solitude yet all he could see was people, he tried to hurry towards his shop but for a moment the crowd overwhelmed him making him think whether killing them all would be the best course.

In some unknown corner of the world, a hooded figure moves in hopes of finding a certain 'one'. He hopes to find the hero of people, but is the one he searches for really a hero?

Three hundred years after the fall, the known world is beginning to regain a semblance of order, with the sword the ultimate power once more. But not everything of old was lost, and there are some that will exert deadly effort to obtain what was left behind. Orphaned, plague-marked and mistrusted by the community he lives in, a boy must come to terms with the fact that he is different from everyone else, but is soon the focus of unwelcome and deadly attention. Separated from her father, a young girl has to learn to survive in a foreign land haunted by tribes of ghosts and roving bands of piratical thralls to a sadistic King. A watcher keeps lonely vigil from within a fortress that has been under siege for hundreds of years, while a soldier dies for the twenty-third time, and dies again while wondering if he is going mad. First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1. But of course, the princess didn't like the idea of marrying the boy who hates her with all his guts but this all for everybody's future. Both were forced to marry each other even though they didn't want to but they just had to. From the people's eyes, the prince was kind. Which he totally was. And in the moon's eyes. When no one is awake. Not even them knows what happens at night. But they do not have to know. After all, when night falls. It's his time, to be awake at night
