A conversation in the midst of night relapses in his mind— of his mother’s confession to her lover that she has been slowly poisoning her husband, leading him to his presently feeble and decrepit state. She wished to monopolize the throne of the kingdom and shape it to her liking... The kingdom of Invidia, Envy embodied.

Not long after, she spoke of her son’s soon to be “accidental” passing and mirth was passed between her and her paramour. 

Despise and rage then enveloped the love the prince feels for his mother. 

And the pale moon shone and became the lone witness to the symphony of murder as the birth of an abstract masterpiece of loathing and disgust was immortalized beneath his feet.
